Hi, My last giveaway had two winners but the other winner never replied to my email so I couldn’t give the prize to him/her. I think it’s reasonable to give it away to someone else.

  3. I am extremely excited for Red Dead Redemption, Spiderman and Metro.. 2018 is shaping up to be a stellar year in gaming. All I need is a Bloodborne 2 announcement and all would be right with the world.

      1. Red Dead will not disappoint. The only thing disappointing about the whole thing is that we’re not going to see the next GTA for another 4 to 6 years. GTA 5 was my game of the last generation followed closely by TLOU and Mass Effect.

      1. I like old man Kratos. I’ve played every single GOW. I hope they keep this over the shoulder perspective and change up the weaponry for each successive entry. I don’t want them to go back to the old formula.

  4. I haven’t played Red Dead Redemption and it is kinda weird that I barely knew its existence. Somehow the game had been always out of my radar or something, but I really want to play it. I have PS3 and before RDR2 release I need to play that. It’s 29.99€ in PS Store and I think its a bit too much.

    1. I played Red Dead 1 in 2014 so I too was reasonably late to the experience. If you like the GTA series you will love RDR1. I don’t know why it is so expensive in your country. I bought my copy through the psn store for about $3 – $5 on sale. If you can, try buying it used.

      1. Sometimes I buy games online (digital) and I can download it to my PS4. Usually they’re very cheap comparing to my country’s PS Store prices.

  6. I don’t think I have Now where I live. I haven’t seen it anywhere. But I bought RDR PS3 used 5€!!
    Can’t wait.

    I’m not sure about the spider man though. Maybe I’ll do it. Right now I’m almost finished Detective Pikachu 3DS. I know it’s kids game but I couldn’t resist :)

    I’m anticipating Last Of Us 2 and that Hideo Kojima game Death Stranding, not sure if they come this year..

      1. Yes the Silent Hills, I was so excited when it was announced and the PT demo was scary. (I still have PT on my older PS4 console).
        That game would’ve been very scary/horrifying because the graphics are very realistic nowadays. It would’ve been great if the Silent Hills came to PSVR. PT was first person anyways.

    2. I am glad you found a copy of RDR so cheap. Maybe you should do a review after you’ve completed it. I think it would be very relevant. TLOU2 is also on my most anticipated list of games. I haven’t a clue what Death Stranding is going to be so I am mostly indifferent.

        I keep hearing people talk about how much they love it and i’ve seen countless things about it, but i just can’t get into starting at all. lol

  10. Is gaming a big part of Finnish culture? Is it as widespread as it is in the US or UK? Also, everyone needs to keep their eyes on Days Gone.

    1. I don’t think gaming is part of culture in Finland but it’s very popular amongst 7-35 year olds (not sure about the age range) who has grown when gaming consoles became popular (NES, SNES, SEGA).
      I would say 95% of my friends play at least some kind of game, even my god daughter plays video games and she’s 10, (I remember her playing PS3 and a Sonic game at age of 4 :) )

      Days Gone is something I keep my eyes on for sure.

      1. Here in the US gaming is quite ubiquitous. Whether it is mobile, console or PC women and men of every age play. I have been playing on console now for about 33 years. My first gaming system was the Atari 800 or 1200 XL. Most people probably never heard of games like Frogger, Choplifter and Jungle Hunt. I am not one for nostalgia so I will say that I am happy to see games evolve and improve over such a long time. Not many of my friends play games anymore but I prefer gaming over movies and TV.

    1. I can’t say anything about that because I haven’t played any Black Ops games. I quickly read something about the games and the story and I got the idea of it.
      Do you like to play Black Ops on multiplayer or single player (story)?

      1. I tried to think what game is my favourite THUS FAR for PS4. I think it has to be God Of War. I know I didn’t give the best score but the graphics, details in plot, lore and mythology and everything else (than fighting system) that was done was perfection. There games I gave better scores but they were good what they offered, even though they were not as meticulously done if compared to GOW.

        What I’m waiting for and I think will take the number one spot in my list is Detroit and possibly death Stranding and Last of Us 2.

  13. I think the biggest games that I am still waiting for to release have to be Camelot Unchained, Crowfall, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Kingdom Hearts 3. In regards to the MMOs, Ive been searching for one that I’d be able to stick with for years to come as Ive been tiring so quickly of the ones nowadays. Here’s to hoping!

    1. I, too, would like to stick some game/gameseries. I’m super fan of Resident Evil games but the saga has gone up and down like a rollercoaster, so I really don’t know what to think of it anymore.

    2. I started to play Nioh umm, I have no idea when. Maybe like year ago and I did grind and did kill the same enemies for hours :D But every time when I went onwards to a new place the enemies were upper level anyways. I played it, I would say at least 50-70 hours, and didn’t get that far in the game/story itself. I kinda got bored to it but I think I could go back to that game (if I didn’t have so many other to play first.) I liked the game although it had lots of moves and stuff to do with the character but somehow I managed them.

      For sure Bloodborne fans/players would love Nioh. I tried Bloodborne long time ago but I didn’t get far and I got so frustrated and I gave the game away to a friend :/ Kinda wanna try it again, though.

  24. My favorite games of all time are GTA5, Mass effect series, TLOU, Gears of War series, Bloodborne and RDR. Honorable mentions are Witcher 3, Bioshock series and Resistance 3. If I had to choose one it would be GTA5 story not multiplayer. I am not a big fan of multiplayer or cooperative games.

I have Witcher 3 and I got stuck on a bug that won’t let me defeat a boss :/ I LOVED that game and played it for days and then got stuck a boss (Djinn) that kills me usually with one attack and if not one then two. It’s impossible to beat and I have used everything I have and made million saves every time I got little bit further of killing it.
      The option to change enemies level WON’T work and I have tried it many times and with all kinds of mixes (change options and save and reload etc.) nothing works. I’m stuck in that place and cannot leave it and I don’t have other saves before the boss :/ Its been this way for almost a year now.

      One of my friend said the Djinn is super easy boss and it shouldn’t act like that. He said it seems like there isn’t a bug just with the level option but the game have changed my difficulty to hardest possible or that Djinn has also a bug when killing me with one stroke (which is almost impossible to avoid.)

      1. Did you ever consider deleting the save and starting from scratch? I know that would suck if you have progressed pretty far in the game but that may be the only way you get to complete it. Trust me. You do not want to let Witcher 3 fall too far into your backlog. I never played Witcher 1 or 2 but 3 was so good that I am now anticipating Cyberpunk 2077.

  25. GoW has definitely won it’s way on my favorite games list, but Persona 5 was really fun :) If you haven’t tried it I definitely recommend it if you like JRPGs

  26. Persona looks interesting. I am more a fan of traditional western RPGish type games… Witcher, Mass Effect, Horizon Zero Dawn. RPG lite. Games like Monster Hunter, Nino Kuni and Final Fantasy scare the crap out of me. Too much micro management. Persona may be the exception because it looks very stylish and crazy.

    1. Right now I’m playing Yakuza 0 (I wanted to try them and decided to start with the first one, storywise.) I’m not doing a review of it (I think.)
      I’m also playing Detective Pikachu (3DS) and that is one what I’m making my next review.

  29. I don’t know if I’m the only one but I have so much to do and play that I simply don’t have enough hours in a day to do all the things I want to do. I have MANY games to play and many that I need to review. I also have my job that keeps me writing, editing and doing all kinds of graphic designer things. Then I have many things I want to read (magazines, books) and movies and TV series to watch.

    Usually it’s very difficult to put things in a proper order or relax when doing these things. And I also have many health related issues but I just try to forget about them since there isn’t much I can do about it.

    Am I the only one?

    1. Things arent going pretty well for me right now too with all the things i have to do, specially work pressure, but your blog always puts a smile on my face. When you have a lot of things to do, you may feel down, but remember that you atleast have people that care about you.
      I know your work its to review things, but you got to take a break and look to your health issues because that could be dangerous, i just hope that the in the days that come you feel better.

  33. Thanks for the opportunity in the give-away but I have one question that pertains to the site . Have you ever thought about using a different forum and community management service? I have been active on Disqus for years. It appears as if many smaller sites and blogs utilize Disqus. I am not a site proprietor nor a blogger but as an active forum participant I find Disqus easier to use. I don’t know how difficult it is to get a site up and running on Disqus. I also don’t know if there are hosting fees so take my words with a healthy dose of skepticism. WordPress is good but Disqus seems to have more features. Thanks again

    1. Thanks for the feedback. I will take a look at the Disqus. I have used it myself, too, but I’m not sure can I add it to WordPress. WP is very limited in many things. I updated my plan on WP to better one but haven’t got time to dig in what things it offers me. Before next giveaway I’ll do something about it, if I can.
